Smoked Salmon Bagels (Cragels)

     

1.       Pre-heat oven to 200°C (180°C Fan) and line a baking tray with greaseproof paper

2.       Unwrap the dough according to package instructions. Fold the dough in half and roll out into a longer strip using a lightly floured rolling pin. From the short ends cut 4 long strips. Twist the strips about 3-4 times and bring the two short ends together to form a ring. Lightly brush with egg yolk and scatter Cornish Sea Salt Everything Bagel over the top of each. Add to the baking tray and bake in the oven for 12-15minutes. 

3.        Meanwhile, make your smoked salmon filling. Pile all the ingredients onto a chopping board starting with the cream cheese, then adding smoked salmon, capers, dill, Cornish Sea Salt flakes, lemon juice and zest. Using a sharp knife, chop the mixture into small pieces until its thoroughly mixed together.

4.        Once the cragels are cooked, transfer to a plate to cool, then evenly spread the smoked salmon filling onto each, and serve.
