These super easy baked flapjacks are the perfect snack for a mid-morning energy boost. Use up left over fruit, nuts or chocolate pieces and don't forget a good pinch of our Sea Salt Flakes.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200C / 180C fan.
  2. Add the unsalted butter, sugar and golden syrup to a saucepan and heat gently until fully melted and combined.
  3. Tip in the oats and seed/nuts/fruit/chocolate of choice and generous pinch of Cornish Sea Salt Flakes. If your sweet liquid is still very warm, the chocolate will melt so leave to cool for a few minutes if you want defined chocolate bits.
  4. Tip into a lightly greased baking dish and score gently with a knife into the pieces you will eventually cut. Add a little extra scrunch of salt flakes on top then oven bake for approximately 15 mins until golden brown.
  5. Leave to cool for 5 mins before cutting through your score lines to create pieces, then leave to completely cool in the tray before removing and tucking in!

Our Cornish Sea Salt Flakes are also available in ASDA, Tesco, Waitrose and Sainsbury's.
