5 of our must-see (and eat) restaurants in Cornwall

Watering Hole – Perranporth

Being the UK’s only bar & restaurant on the beach, we couldn’t not give this special venue a mention.  The Watering Hole has a casual and varied menu to cater for all tastes ranging from light snacks to hearty meals and on Sundays check out its smoking hot BBQ. Sandy children and dogs very welcome at this friendly restaurant. What’s more, this cool hang out sees acts from Lethal Bizzle, the Hoosiers to Seal play.

Waterfront – Polzeath

Boasting panoramic views from the terrace, this ticks the box for a meal with a view or a chilled glass of wine whilst the sun goes down. A taste of Polzeath themed menu with a selection of seafood dishes and local nosh.

Lusty Glaze – Newquay

This restaurant is a hidden gem, nestled away in a privately owned cove. A large open decking is spot on for soaking up those rays, even on those wintery days the large floor – to-roof window makes for that sought after view. If dietary needs are important then this menu was designed with you in mind.

Carbis Bay Beach Club Restaurant – St Ives

Unrivalled views of 25 acres stretch of beach; this is one of our favourite beach-fronted restaurants. Chic décor meets light and beachy, a perfect spot.

Ben Tunnicliffe – Sennen Cove

With a classic driftwood style, this restaurant nails it for its idyllic location. The restaurant has a funky fresh feel with a menu to match, created by the Michelin star chef and owner Ben Tunnicliffe using only seasonal and local produce – the menu consists of family favourites accompanied by seafood classics to suit all tastes. Children and dogs welcome making this CSS’s top pick for beachside restaurants.
