Cornish Sea Salt sources sea water from the clearest, turquoise waters off Cornwall’s Lizard Peninsula. Our waters have Grade A accreditation – the highest to denote water purity.

Tony’s first business venture – at the age of 19 – was importing Tibetan carpets. After selling to all his relatives the market mysteriously dried up. A year later he was on the boat train to Ireland as a self employed tree surgeon. The start of a twenty year career in forestry which led him to plant trees from Swaziland to the Solomon Islands. Settling in Cornwall resulted in a complete change of direction and the idea of producing a premium sea salt from Cornish waters. Three years of hard work later and the sea salt is ready for harvest.

I have spent the last 18 years in the Cornish food industry and have not seen a product that has created as much interest and enthusiasm as Cornish Sea Salt. I love good food and have watched with interest the UK and in particular Cornwall, develop through its many skilled and diverse food producers, to a region known for its excellent fine food. Cornish Sea Salt is the icing on the cake.

A self-taught professional chef, Liz’s food career started in London with her own corporate hospitality business then to the West Country where she spent eight years at The Guild of Fine Food, developing initiatives to support regional food producers and independent retailers. Two years as Marketing Director for Dorset-based speciality food producer Olives Et Al was followed by the launch of her own food marketing consultancy, Ideas On Food. Liz has lived in Sherborne for thirteen years and is enthusiastic about the wealth of world class food produced in the region.

A chartered accountant with a law degree, Jerry trained and worked at Price Waterhouse and Deloittes. Jerry has extensive experience of strategic business improvement and fast growth management and has raised finance across the board, from business angels and banks to VC’s and a $60 million floatation on Nasdaq. In 2002 Jerry established The Mill Consultancy, specialising in corporate finance and business development advice. As head of the consultancy, he has a number of clients and non-executive roles. Jerry is a mentor for Prince’s Trust and Vice President of the SW Society of Chartered Accountants.
